Generalnie opony znanej niemieckiej firmy dość się sprawdzają, są ciche w porównaniu do Dębicy czy Barum. Przy okazji tylko nadmienię, że warto mieć jakieś opony w zapasie gdyby była potrzeba zareklamowania kupionych na oponeo (gdyż muszą zostać odebrane przez kuriera przejść ekspertyzę) wiec przez jakiś czas zostajemy bez opon.

Jak dla mnie lepszych nie ma.
Bardzo dobra opona uniwersalna - na suchy i mokry asfalt. Przy tym cicha, bo również pod takim kątem ją dobierałem. Oczywiście ze względu na rozmiar (235/55 R18) i przeznaczenie nie służy ani do jazdy w zimie, ani w terenie. Bieżnik ma mniejszą głębokość niż inne (6.5 mm zamiast zwykłych 7.5-8). Dla mnie nie jest to wadą, opony wymieniam zwykle ze względu na wiek, a nie zużycie. Opony mają lamele skutecznie obniżające hałas i dobrze odprowadzające wodę, przynajmniej na razie, dopóki nie są zużyte. Kilka razy miałem okazję sprawdzić na serpentynach podczas deszczu - zerwanie przyczepności było trudniejsze, niż się spodziewałem (porównując do poprzednich, z bieżnikiem 3-4 mm). Jedynym, co mi się nie spodobało, było to, że dwie opony wyważyły się idealnie, ale dwie dość przeciętnie.

Fuel economy
The left-hand part of the label shows the contribution made by the tyre to fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
Tyres, mainly due to their rolling resistance, account for around 20% of vehicles' fuel consumption. A reduction in rolling resistance can therefore make a considerable contribution to the energy efficiency of road transport, and thus to reducing CO2 emissions. It is rolling resistance, measured on a simulator, that determines the grade of the tyre.
What is the difference between an A tyre and a E tyre?
The difference in Rolling Resistance is considerable and represents a technological evolution of several tyre generations.
On a car, the difference in impact on fuel consumption between an A tyre and an E tyre is very large, on the order of 0.5 litres/100km.
This amounts to around 80 litres of fuel per year (assuming 15,000km/year).
Over €100/year for a petrol vehicle (at a pump price of €1.30/l.)
The economic impact on the consumer is very considerable, and so is the environmental impact, as this difference in consumption corresponds to 12g of CO2 emissions per km.
Wet roads
The right-hand side of the label shows the tyre's performance when braking on a wet surface. The measurements are taken on vehicles in conditions defined by European regulations (speed, road characteristics, water depth, temperature, etc.).
The grade is established by comparing the performance of the tested tyre with a reference tyre.
What is the difference between an A tyre and an E tyre? (For this safety performance, tyres below E grade are not authorised for sale)
The difference in braking distance between a vehicle fitted with category A tyres and a vehicle fitted with category E tyres is over 18 metres.
Noise level & other information
Traffic noise is a major source of noise pollution. The lower part of the label concerns the level of noise emitted outside the vehicle, and not the noise perceived by the driver inside the vehicle. The figure expresses the sound level in decibels.
EPREL database QR code
Grading and technical information are communicated to Authorities and added to the European EPREL database. This database is accessible through the QR code next to the Energy sign and leads you to the product information sheet of the tyre.
3PMSF marking
Indication whether the tyre is a tyre for use in severe snow conditions (3PMSF marking).
Ice grip marking
Indication whether the tyre is an ice grip tyre (ice grip marking). Ice grip tyres are specifically designed for road surfaces covered with ice and compact snow, and should only be used in very severe climate conditions (e.g. cold temperatures). Using ice grip tyres in less severe climate conditions (e.g. wet conditions or warmer temperatures) could result in sub-optimal performance, in particular for wet grip, handling and wear.
